Hawaii Tour

May 3-4 Hawaii Book and Music Festival – I have been invited to be part of a panel to discuss Hokule’a and the World Wide Voyage and sign Hawaiki Rising books at the Festival. Saturday – 1PM – Alana Culture Pavilion. With Kai’ulani Murphy and others. 2-3 sign books.

May 8 – appear with Ron Mizutani on his morning TV show to discuss the book and film. 6:45 a.m. KHON2

May 8 – 5: 30 PM – present my film, The Navigators, at Daughters of Hawaii – Honolulu.

May 12 – present Hawaiki Rising at Outrigger Canoe Club – Honolulu (members and guests).

May 17th – Parker Ranch General Store. 10am-12. 5:30 PM about – Talk at Mauna Lani Hotel- Twilight at Kal?huipua’a.

May 20 – Present The Navigators at Volcanoes National Park – 7 PM.

May 21 – Present The Navigators at Pu’ukohola Park, 10 AM to NOON. Book signing after.

May 22 – Present The Navigators at Kaloko-Honokohau Park at 11 Am – book signing after. Present The Navigators at Pu’uhonua o Honaunau Park at 3PM and sign books after.

May 23 –About 5:30 PM (still in planning) – present The Navigators at Palace Theater in old Hilo Town. Discussion with Polynesian non-instrument navigators after.

May 24 – 11 AM – Reading and book signing at Basically Books – Hilo.
